Many do not accept that Christ Jesus died for all. 1 Corinthians 2: 14 says the unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. Disputes against our redemption through Christ Jesus are not new.
John 16: 13 says when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will speak on its own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. Today, we wish to discover the truth as the Holy Spirit may permit.
Did Christ Jesus die for all?
Yes. The bible says so. 2 Corinthians 5: 14-15 say for the love of Christ controls us, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, that those who live might live no longer for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. 1 John 2: 2 says and he is the expiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. Christ Jesus said so. Matthew 24: 14 says and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.
Why did Christ Jesus die?
It was necessary. Acts 17: 3 says it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead. He died to atone for our sins. Romans 6: 10 says the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 1 Corinthians 5: 7 says… For Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed. He died to show us God’s light out of darkness. Acts26: 23 says that Christ must suffer, and that, being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to the people and the Gentiles.
He died to give us our freedom. Matthew 20: 28; Mark 10: 45 says for the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus’ death was the price or value for our release from spiritual bondage and captivity. He died to give us abundant life. John 10: 10 says I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. He died to minister to the dead. 1 Peter 3: 19-20 say… being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit; in which he went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formally did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah…
Christ died for the living and the dead
Jesus said in John 11: 25-26 I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes I me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? Romans 14: 9 says for to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. We cannot be an exception to the redemption grace of Christ Jesus. Call on Jesus now before death.
Christ died for sinners and outcasts
Jesus said in Luke 5: 32, I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. The righteous need no repentance but the sinner. Romans 5: 6 says while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5: 8 says but God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Jesus is calling us from sin unto righteousness now. It may be too late tomorrow.
Christ died for both Jews and Gentiles
The Jews were natives whilst the Gentiles were not. Romans 3: 29 says or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also? Romans 9: 24 says even us whom he has called, [are] not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles. So, Jesus died not for only Jews but us also.
Ephesians 3: 4-6 say when you read this you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that is, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Christ Jesus is calling and waiting for all.
Christ died for males and females
Galatians 3: 28 says there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Jesus called all in Matthew 11: 28, come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. In Christ, the distinction is not relevant. It is the heart that matters. No matter who we are, Jesus is inviting us with open arms to bless and restore us.
Christ died for children and adults
Jesus said in Matthew 18: 3 says verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Mark 9:42 says whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea. We need childlike faith in order to bond with Christ Jesus.
Christ died for the sick and afflicted
Jesus’ death conquered both physical and spiritual illness. Matthew 8: 17 says he took our infirmities and bore our diseases. 1 Peter 2: 24 says who he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. Jesus is able to heal our sicknesses and afflictions if we allow him to assume responsibility. Let us give Christ Jesus the chance to liberate us as a victorious from bondage.
Christ died for those without hope
Christ Jesus is our surest hope to restore our lost hope in all things. Colossians 1:12 says we give thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who had delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us unto the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. 2 Corinthians 12: 9 says my (Jesus) grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Christ died for all generations
Colossians 1: 17 says he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Jesus said in John 8: 58 says truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am. 1 Peter 3: 19-20 say… being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit; in which he went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formally did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah. Christ Jesus DIED FOR ALL to save.
