There are no ways everywhere that we must access. However, God provides a way where there is no way. He said in Isaiah 43: 19… I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Just as the world was void until God spoke into it, so were the wilderness and waters without any pathways until he spoke into them. God knows where we will need a way and he will provide it. 2 Kings 19: 27; Isaiah 37: 28 wrote, I know your rising and sitting, your going out and coming in, and your raging against me

It is written in Isaiah 43: 16 thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters. He made the Israelites walk on dry ground through the red sea when by human imagination, it appeared impossible, Exodus 14: 16, 22, 29; 15: 19. God led the Israelites in the wilderness when they did not know the way. In Exodus 13: 21, 22; 14: 19, 24 the LORD went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, so they might travel by day and night. Because God journeys ahead of us, he provides the way ahead of us.

God makes ways even in the clouds. In 2 Kings 2: 11, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated Elijah and Elisha, and Elijah ascended on a whirlwind into heaven. In 2 Kings 6: 17 the LORD opened the eyes of the servant of Elisha, and he saw; the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. Jesus ascended into heaven, Mark 16: 19; Acts 1: 9. The angels said in Acts 1: 11, this Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come again in the same way as he went. In whatever circumstance we may be, our God is able to provide a way out. There are many ways we cannot see.

How does God know every way?

God knows the beginning and end of all things. He is the creator, hence he is able to make the impossible possible, and the possible impossible if we call on him in truth and trust. Zechariah 8: 6 said, thus says the LORD of hosts: Even though it seems impossible to the remnants of the people in these days, should it also seem impossible to me, says the LORD of hosts? Jesus said in Matthew 19: 26; Mark 10: 27; 14: 36 For God all things are possible. God’s ways are beyond human comprehension.

Our spiritual sight gets blinded by our physical circumstances but God’ word stands firm. Job 12: 14 says if he (God) tears down, no one can rebuild; if he shuts someone in, no one can open up. We panic with doubt because we do not know the God we serve. Our God wants us to trust him to show us the way. He said in Revelation 22: 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. God knows the way we have to go from the beginning to the end because of who he is.

Who is this God in reference?

He is the one Jesus calls my Father in heaven. He is the eternal creator God. Isaiah 66: 2 says all these things my hand has made, and so all these things are mine. Ephesians 3: 9 says God created all things. Colossians 1: 16 says for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible. Hebrews 1: 2 says through Christ, God created the world. Revelation 4: 11 says for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. Jeremiah 32: 27 says see, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me? We cannot evaluate God with human intelligence.

He is the unchangeable God. Hebrews 13: 8 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. He is the God by whose gracious love we are the children of God. Lamentations 3: 22-23 wrote, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. He is God above mortals. Isaiah 55: 8 says, for my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. All creation both visible and invisible is at his command. Matthew 8: 27; mark 4: 41 says who is this man, that even the wind and the sea obey him? Have we lost our way? Our God will show the way.

How does God provide a way?

As the light of the world, God illuminates and reveals all the hidden paths of life unto those who love him and do his will. When we get lost or feel lost along the way, Jesus’ light will show us the way if we share in his freely given light. Jesus said in Luke 8: 17; Mark 4: 22 for nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light. Any way of success or victory or favour or blessings which has been hidden or obstructed, shall be revealed in God’s light.

God provides a way through Christ Jesus, the greatest name above all names and the greatest miracle ever known to man. Philippians 2: 9 says God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jess every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Any other name or authority is fake and demonic and cannot show the way to God.

Why the name Jesus Christ?

It is a God-given name against all powers and authorities etc. however we may describe them. Ephesians 1: 20-23 said, God put his power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. It is the name in which God trusts, Matthew 3: 17; Mark 9: 7. It is the name by which God saves the world, Matthew 1: 21

The name Jesus epitomizes faithfulness. 2 Thessalonians 3: 3 says the Lord is faithful, he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. Hebrews 3: 2 says he was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house. (Read also Hebrews 3: 6). He reverberates mercy. 1 John 1: 9 says if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He is the foundation of love. Romans 5: 6 says for while they were still weak, at the right time Christ dies for the ungodly. 1 Thessalonians 5: 10 writes, he died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep we may live with him.

What is our burden which we cannot carry? What tears can we not wipe? What fear has engulfed us? What trouble are we facing? Our God is able to provide a way out. May the Holy Spirit lead us to find our way in Christ Jesus, the Lord and Saviour!

Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, you are our only true way to eternity. Let your name continue to open the hidden ways to our understanding and the eyes of our faith in you. May your name which is above all names show us the way back to your loving arms. In your blessed name we have prayed, Amen!!
